Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dictate book writing service (“Service”) provided by Appendment LLC d/b/a Dictate (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 123 E Tarpon Avenue #305, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. By purchasing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

The products sold on this site are remote, personalized book-planning services: the Dictate Book Blueprint and the optional Competitive Gap Report, Interview Roadmap, and Book Launch Planner. Your purchase includes only the products shown on your order confirmation. Each is personalized from a strategy call with a Dictate Book Strategist (Zoom) and a phone interview with Silas, Dictate’s AI interviewer, and is emailed as a PDF after the interview. A full manuscript, editing, or publishing service is not included, nothing is shipped, and no sales, clients, or income are promised.

Account & Payment

Payment Terms

• All payments are processed securely through our authorized reseller Digistore24, which appears on your statement.
• Payment is due according to the option selected at checkout: a single payment, 2 monthly payments of $50 for the Interview Roadmap ($100 total), or 3 monthly payments of $77 for the Launch Planner ($231 total). Installment plans end after the stated number of payments.
• Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change for future purchases. Your package price is locked at the time of purchase.

Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 60 days of purchase for any reason. No questions asked and nothing to return. See our Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property

Your book is your intellectual property. Here is exactly how ownership works:

• You own 100% of the copyright to the content of the documents delivered to you (your Blueprint and any purchased add-ons). Dictate retains no rights to your book content.
• All content in your book originates from your interviews, materials, and expertise. The AI organizes and writes based on your input — it does not generate content from external sources.
• Dictate does not claim any royalties, licensing fees, or ongoing payments related to your book.
• You are free to publish, distribute, sell, or license your book in any way you choose.
• Dictate retains the right to mention that we assisted in the creation of your book (e.g., in case studies or marketing), unless you opt out in writing.

Service Process

After your order, use the confirmation page to arrange your interview. Your Blueprint and any purchased add-ons are generated from your interview and delivered when ready. If you already completed your interview, contact support with your order details to connect the add-on to your existing project.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled interviews in good faith.
• Provide accurate information during interviews and in uploaded materials.
• Review chapter drafts and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe (typically 7 business days).
• Ensure you have the right to share any materials you upload.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Dictate is not responsible for the commercial success or failure of your book after delivery.
• Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your package.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• We do not guarantee specific word counts, publishing outcomes, or sales results.
• We make reasonable efforts to ensure data security but cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.

Earnings & ROI Disclaimer

Dictate is a professional book writing and branding service. We do not guarantee, and you should not expect, any specific financial outcome, revenue increase, lead generation, or return on investment from using our services.

• Any estimates of time savings or content output on our website are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute guarantees of results.
• Individual outcomes depend on numerous factors outside our control, including your industry, effort, market conditions, content quality, distribution strategy, and business model.
• Testimonials, case studies, and success stories reflect individual experiences and are not indicative of typical results. Your results may vary significantly.
• Dictate is not a business opportunity, franchise, multi-level marketing program, or income-generating system.Our service produces book-planning documents— the commercial outcomes of those assets are solely your responsibility.
• By using our services, you acknowledge that you have not been promised or guaranteed any specific financial return and that your purchase is based on the value of the book writing and branding services provided, not on any projected financial outcome.

Termination

Either party may terminate the Service under the following conditions:

• By you: You may cancel the Service at any time by contacting us at legal@startdictate.com. Refund eligibility is subject to the Refund Policy above.
• By us: We reserve the right to terminate the Service if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive conduct toward our systems or team.
• Upon termination, you retain ownership of every document already delivered to you.
• Interview recordings and personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.

SMS Terms

If you opt in to receive SMS notifications from Dictate by Appendment LLC:

• Consent: By checking the SMS consent box during onboarding, you consent to receive text messages about your book project, including scheduling reminders, interview confirmations, and status updates.
• Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your project activity, typically 2–5 messages per week during active phases.
• Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message. Opting out of SMS does not affect your project or service.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email hello@startdictate.com.
• Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan. Dictate does not charge for SMS messages.
• Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
• Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
